This latest venture of ours consisted in a series of miniature tours to:
(1) raise funds for our convent building project, and
(2) inspire Catholics to keep up their courage in the midst of today’s spiritual warfare.
Sister grew up in Northern California as the oldest child in a family of ten. She took final vows as a Slave of the Immaculate Heart of Mary on March 25, 1998, and is now the sub-prioress of the Sisters, as well as the director of the Saint Augustine Institute of Wisdom. For years Sister taught religion, art, music, literature, history, English grammar & composition, drama, Latin, logic, and rhetoric at the high school level. She has also penned a number of articles excellent for From the Housetops magazine and Catholicism.org.
Sister Marie Gabrielle is a native of Sonoma County, California. She professed vows as a Slave of the Immaculate Heart of Mary in 2012. She has a growing collection of “Sister Talks” posted on the Sensus Fidelium YouTube channel: “What Mary Wants from You,” “A Thousand Times Happy,” and a third talk entitled, “Doubling the Blade,” which expounds on the purpose and appeal of her Community’s bestselling book, The Liturgical Rosary. Along with teaching the fifth and sixth grades at Immaculate Heart of Mary School, overseeing the Sisters’ efforts to raise funds for a new Convent, and working with Arouca Press to publish a new book, Sr. Marie Gabrielle delights in her private studies on Christological anthropology.
If you know anyone who would be interested in hosting a Sister Talk in the future, please encourage them to contact us at micmreligious@gmail.com for more information.
