St. Philomena's Convent

A Dream Today. A Home Tomorrow.

In July 2024, we lost our convent to mold. Today, we are building again—with hope.

THE CRISIS

Facing a Double-Crisis

Why were the Sisters forced to evacuate our Convent? Learn more about how a terrible mold crisis has left us squeezed into our own guest quarters, and why a total mold remediation has not solved all our problems.

THE SIGN OF HOPE

We Are Growing

In God’s Providence, we lost our convent to mold in July of 2024—but we had already outgrown it!. Barely a week after our evacuation, a young lady asked to enter our Community. The eight cells in our old convent could no longer accommodate our nine Sisters.
